Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (214) 258-5978. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is harazcoffeehouse.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 1,440 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Irving and suggests consistent service.
Irving is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Irving is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Five stars. Haraz gave me exactly what I want from a coffee shop: something distinctive, beautifully presented, and worth remembering. I ordered the Sana’ani, a black coffee infused with cardamom. It was rich, fragrant, and smooth, with the cardamom complementing the coffee instead of covering it. I enjoyed it so much that I bought one of their coffee cups. Then came the desserts: a silky matcha dome cake, warm Bee Bites filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey, and a creamy coconut cheesecake coated in coconut and finished with a tiny dried rose. All three were excellent. The entire shop is warm and inviting, with beautiful Yemeni-inspired details throughout. Everything felt intentional, from the atmosphere to the presentation. This was my first visit, and it definitely will not be my last.

Nice selection of drinks, pastries, cakes. We didn’t have any food but the pistachio matcha latte was very nice. The strawberry lemonade was also nice with a good blend of tart and sweet. They also have dominos these that you can play with which was nice for us to pass some time.

We absolutely loved the matcha! We tried the Mango Cloud Matcha and the Banana Cloud Matcha. As someone who has tried many great matcha spots across DFW, this has become one of our absolute favorites. Their drinks are well balanced and the syrups are delicious and don’t have the usual artificial taste. They have a high quality good grade matcha and no bitter aftertaste. On Ankit’s recommendation we tried the mango mousse and it was yum! It was super fresh, well balanced with perfect amount of sweetness and not at all heavy. They make it in house. A HUGE SHOUTOUT to Ankit, he always makes us feel at home and goes the extra mile! He has a very positive aura and genuinely wants you to have a great time. Eggless food items: Mosaic Cake, Samosa, Mango Mousse

The coffee was delicious—though a bit strong! It was my first time there with my friends; I was the one who chose the place, and I was excited to check it out, but I ended up being disappointed by the staff. They really should do a better job of explaining the shop's concept and history to first-time visitors. I might have considered coming back for that reason, but the attitude of the two young women working there wasn't very friendly.

I recently stopped by Haraz Coffee House, and I can honestly say it felt like more than just a coffee run it felt like an experience. From the second I walked in, the vibe was warm and comforting. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe a little, and just enjoy the moment. The customer service is truly top notch. The staff greets you with genuine smiles, takes their time with you, and makes you feel valued, not rushed. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it really makes a difference. Now the drinks… wow. The Adeni chai is hands down my favorite rich, perfectly spiced, and so smooth that you’ll want to savor every sip. You can taste the authenticity in it. Their other traditional Yemeni drinks are just as incredible, full of unique flavors and made with real care. As well as their Milk cakes are too 🤤😋. Everything feels intentional and high quality. It’s not just about coffee here it’s about culture, comfort, and connection. If you’re in Irving and haven’t tried Haraz yet, you’re honestly missing out. Definitely one of my favorite spots now. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
